“I Always Dreamed Of Playing In Big Clubs…” 16 Goal Striker Issues ‘Come And Get’ Plea To United

Eintracht Frankfurt forward Randal Kolo Muani has left the door open to joining Manchester United this summer.

The France international was linked with a €120m (£105m) switch to Old Trafford last week and, when asked about a potential transfer at the end of the season, the striker replied:

“We talk about it [a transfer] a lot already, but I try to be focused on my club. We continue our performances and we will see this summer. Afterwards, I always dreamed of playing in big clubs. I thought I was going to need some time to adapt, maybe a year. But everything exploded. Either way, I’m ready for any challenge”

Muani has been in excellent form this campaign, having scored 16 goals and contributed 14 assists in 35 appearances for Frankfurt. His performances have led to transfer links, not only to United, but to Chelsea and Liverpool as well.

While Erik ten Hag’s side are likely to be keeping close tabs on Muani, it would be a surprise if they paid anywhere near the reported €120m figure.

For that price, they could probably sign Tottenham’s Harry Kane, Juventus’s Dusan Vlahovic or even Napoli’s Victor Osimhen; all of whom have more experience playing at the highest level.

It is important to remember to Muani only joined Frankfurt on a free transfer from Nantes last summer, and it is only his third full season as a professional footballer.
