Huddersfield V Manchester United: Team News And Predicted XI Plus Betting Odds

The draw against Chelsea last time out makes Manchester United’s task of finishing in the top four even harder.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side should be able to secure three points on Sunday, though, when they travel to face a Huddersfield side who have already been relegated.

The Terriers suffered a 5-0 defeat to Liverpool in their last game, and while manager Jan Siewert’s team could be tougher to break down at home, United will be heavy favourites to get the win.

Solskjaer has a whole host of injury concerns heading into the match. Goalkeeper Sergio Romero has been ruled out with a knee injury so David De Gea will keep his place in goal.

Romelu Lukaku (hamstring), Jesse Lingard (knee), Chris Smalling (knock) and Phil Jones (knee) all have minor injuries so are all slight doubts for the weekend.

Mason Greenwood is also suffering with a knock but Solskjaer has hinted he may start the final game against Cardiff next week. Antonio Valencia (muscular) and Eric Bailly (knee) are still out of contention.

Manchester United’s Predicted XI To Face Huddersfield:

De Gea, Young, Smalling, Lindelof, Shaw, Herrera, Matic, Pogba, Lingard, Rashford, Martial

For Huddersfield, Laurent Depoitre (foot), Aaron Mooy (knock) and Ben Hamer (knock) are all doubts for Sunday’s match.

Huddersfield’s Predicted XI:

Lossl, Smith, Schindler, Kongolo, Durm, Mbenza, Bacuna, Hogg, Mooy, Grant, Mounie

The bookies have made United the clear favourites with Unibet making them 7/20 odds-on to win. A draw is best priced at 5/1 with Bet365 while a victory for Huddersfield is currently 10/1 at Betfred.

Predicted Score – 2-0 to United
