Dalot’s start against Newcastle was his first in the Premier League this season, following issues with a hip injury. The 20-year-old then picked up a groin strain at St James’ Park and it remains to be seen how long he’ll be out for.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka has established himself as the first-choice right-back and Dalot will have a big challenge on his hands to get into the side on a regular basis.
Before even thinking about that, though, the Portuguese star has to stay fit for an extended period which he hasn’t managed to do during his time at Old Trafford.
