‘Hoping For A Fast Recovery’ ‘The Next Phil Jones’ Fans On Social Media Respond As United Fullback Confirms Injury Layoff

Manchester United right-back Diogo Dalot says he is determined to return stronger from his latest injury. The defender posted on Twitter to provide an update about his recovery:

Fans on Twitter are wishing the Portuguese Under 21 international well, but are frustrated that the fullback has picked up so many injuries since he joined the club:

Dalot’s start against Newcastle was his first in the Premier League this season, following issues with a hip injury. The 20-year-old then picked up a groin strain at St James’ Park and it remains to be seen how long he’ll be out for.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka has established himself as the first-choice right-back and Dalot will have a big challenge on his hands to get into the side on a regular basis.

Before even thinking about that, though, the Portuguese star has to stay fit for an extended period which he hasn’t managed to do during his time at Old Trafford.
