Leicester City attacking midfielder James Maddison “wants to join” Manchester United, according to the Manchester Evening News. The local newspaper claims that the 23-year-old is eager to make the switch to Old Trafford.
Reports in recent days have suggested that the Red Devils are looking to sign both Maddison and Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish but the former could cost as much as £90m.
Fans on Twitter have had a mixed reaction to Maddison’s interest in moving to United, with many preferring that the club simply make a move for Grealish instead:
Here we go!

It is believed that United haven’t finalised their list of summer transfer targets just yet but both Maddison and Grealish are names that are being considered.
The signing of Bruno Fernandes is believed to have not affected their interest in the duo either so it appears that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may well have a whole host of attacking midfielders by the start of next season.
