Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood was once again on the scoresheet as the Red Devils thrashed Tranmere Rovers 6-0 in the FA Cup fourth round yesterday.
The 18-year-old scored a penalty shortly after the half time interval and played the full 90 minutes at Prenton Park. He now has 10 goals and four assists from his 30 appearances this campaign.
Fans on Twitter have been hailing Greenwood’s talent with many expecting him to establish himself as a first-team regular in the not too distant future:
He will be a big star about couple year!!!

Considering he has only made 13 starts in all competitions this season, Greenwood’s strike rate is seriously impressive, especially when he came into the season with just four senior games under his belt.
Although it is wise to be cautious about a young player’s potential, the way that he has taken to first-team football like a duck to water suggests United supporters are justified to be excited by what the future holds for the teenager.
