“He Knows…” Ronaldo Makes Claim About Sir Alex Ferguson As He Hits Out At United’s Hierarchy

Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo believes he shares the same opinion as Sir Alex Ferguson about the current state of the club.

The Portuguese international has slammed those currently running United and, when asked if Ferguson agrees with him, Ferguson replied:

“He knows better than anybody that the club is not on the path they deserve to be. He knows. Everyone knows. The people who don’t see that… it’s because they don’t want to see; they are blind.”

Ronaldo’s explosive interview has sent shockwaves across the fanbase but it doesn’t appear as though many have sided with the player after he not only criticised the club but current head coach Erik ten Hag as well.

The 37-year-old’s own behaviour since the summer has been questionable, to say the least. He tried to force a move away from Old Trafford, and he also refused to come on as a substitute in the game against Tottenham.

Many feel that this interview demonstrates that Ronaldo sees himself as bigger than the club, and the fact that he is not seen as a key first-team player by ten Hag is the real reason behind his outburst, rather than any real concern about United’s direction under the current owners.
