Atletico Madrid will make Joao Felix available for a fee of around €100m (£86m) in January, according to reports in the Spanish media.
Manchester United are believed to be among the favourites to sign the Portuguese international, with the player said to be unhappy at his current club.
However, Felix’s sky-high valuation has not gone down well with supporters on Twitter, who feel that there are better options on the market available for lower prices:
He is worth nowhere near that

You do feel that Felix is someone who possesses a lot of unlocked potential. He is a player who is highly regarded, having been linked with Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool in the past but, the question is, are United in a position to gamble on a striker who may not guarantee them goals?
The 23-year-old’s goal return is pretty poor, having scored just 33 times in 129 appearances for Atletico. There are cheaper alternatives with better records that United could target instead.
