‘He cannot stand Jose’ ‘Nothing in this’ – United Fans React To Mourinho/Pogba Training Ground Exchange

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed that he has told Paul Pogba he will no longer captain the side in Antonio Valencia’s absence.

The Frenchman criticised the club’s tactics after the 1-1 draw against Wolves on Saturday and was rested for the shootout defeat to Derby in the Carabao Cup last night.

Now, a video of a verbal exchange between the pair in training has got fans talking on Twitter:

It’s very hard to tell what is being said, but the body language is certainly not positive. United face West Ham at the London Stadium in the lunchtime kickoff on Saturday, and it will be interesting to see whether Pogba starts.

The France international has been in pretty good form recently. He scored two goals against Young Boys in the Champions League last week and provided the assist for Fred to score the opening goal against Wolves at the weekend.

In fact, he is already close to the six goals he scored in the whole of last season, having reached four in all competitions.
