There were a lot of rumors regarding RVP’s future destination as he entered his last year of contract. Now that the transfer window is open, two names have emerged as front runners for securing the Dutchman’s signature for the next couple of years. Van Persie is 31 and probably has a few more good years ahead of him. Unfortunately he is not part of Manchester’s plans who have yet to discuss any contract extension with the former Gunner. According to TalkSport, RVP is very likely to agree to terms with one of two Turkish sides who are willing to make a lot of sacrifices in order to bring the striker to the Süper Lig.

With the contract with Manchester set to expire next summer, Van Persie could be tempted to leave in order to secure his future. There is one thing that might prevent him from moving to Beskitas. The Dutchman moved to Old Trafford in order to win trophies and compete for the Champions League. If he leaves now he will probably throw away the biggest chance of winning the Premier League as well as the Champions League trophy.

The upside of moving to Turkey would be that fans will idolize him. They are known for their love of football and love of legendary players such as Van Persie. He will feel at home there but he will have to forget about playing at the same intensity and for the same stakes as he does in Manchester. He could also be joined by Nani who is being targeted by Fenerbachce and Beskitas as well.
