Harry Kane Speaks Out

Harry Kane has spoken for the first time since being linked with a move to Manchester United.

The youngster, who is currently on international duty with England u-21’s, says he is flattered by Manchester United’s interest in him, but says he intends to start the new season at Tottenham Hotspur.

The striker has revealed he would like to stay at Spurs despite United’s interest. Saying Spurs are one of England’s “big clubs”.

“I am happy at Spurs and I look forward to the future with Spurs.” The hitman said.

“I have seen there is interest but that’s all I know. It is flattering for other clubs to maybe be interested.”

Harry Kane made a name for himself in the 2014/15 season after scoring a massive 31 goals for Spurs. He was also voted the PFA Young Player of the Year. The youngster also earned an England call-up for his displays, scoring 79 seconds into his international debut.

Kane’s impressive debut year has led to big speculation linking him with a move to United, who are reportedly hoping to seal a £30 million deal for the 21-year-old.

When asked if it would be hard to turn down one of the Premier League’s “big clubs”, Kane said: “Tottenham are one of the big clubs. That is the way people have to see it. I am at a big club.”

So it seems as if United are set to lose out on yet another striking target this summer. However, there is still a long summer ahead, and anything can happen.
