Greenwood Up Front, James And Bailly To Start: United’s Predicted Lineup To Face Real Sociedad

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have less room to rotate his squad for tonight’s Europa League clash against Real Sociedad after a number of players were left out of the travelling party due to injuries.

He is, though, expected to swap his goalkeepers, with Dean Henderson likely to be selected ahead of David De Gea. In defence, Eric Bailly could come into the eleven to play alongside Harry Maguire at centre-half. Alex Telles and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are in line to play the fullback roles.

With Paul Pogba and Donny van de Beek both sidelined, Bruno Fernandes is expected to start. Nemanja Matic and Fred may play in the holding midfield positions behind the Portuguese international as Scott McTominay is an injury doubt.

Mason Greenwood could well get the opportunity to lead the line tonight with Anthony Martial lacking fitness and Edinson Cavani out injured. It is a toss-up between Daniel James and Juan Mata for a place on the right-wing, but the Welshman’s pace may get him the nod. Marcus Rashford should start on the left flank.

Manchester United’s Predicted XI To Play Real Sociedad:

Henderson, Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Maguire, Telles, Fred, Fernandes, Matic, James, Greenwood, Rashford
