Greenwood And Maguire To Start, Cavani On the Bench: United’s Predicted XI To Face Chelsea

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may well stick with the 3-5-2 formation which worked so well in the win against PSG, when they face Chelsea tomorrow evening.

David De Gea will retain his place in goal after pulling off some good saves to help the Red Devils to a 2-1 victory on Tuesday night. Captain Harry Maguire should be back in contention, and he could replace Victor Lindelof in the starting eleven, with Luke Shaw and Axel Tuanzebe playing either side of him. After a good debut, Alex Telles will likely keep his place as the left wingback, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka expected to start on the opposite flank.

In midfield, Paul Pogba could return to the starting line up after playing a key role off the bench in the PSG victory. Fred would be the favourite to make way, with Scott McTominay and Bruno Fernandes keeping their places.

In the forward line, Mason Greenwood is fit again after missing the last two games, and he will be in line to replace Anthony Martial, who is still suspended after his sending off against Tottenham. Edinson Cavani is fit enough for the matchday squad but he may only be ready to come on as a substitute.
