‘Good News’ ‘What A Great Recovery’ ‘Desperately Needed’ Fans Delighted As United Player Provides Positive Injury Update

Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen is now out of his protective boot as he continues his recovery from an ankle injury.

The Danish international has been sidelined since the FA Cup match against Reading in late January after being on the receiving end of a heavy challenge from striker Andy Carroll.

Eriksen’s rehabilitation appears to be going well and supporters on Twitter are keenly anticipating his return to first-team action:

Manager Erik ten Hag’s last update on Eriksen’s fitness was a couple of weeks ago when he said that the 31-year-old would not be back before the international break. It does suggest, though, that he could be available not long after.

United take on Newcastle, Brentford and Everton in the league in the space of six days at the start of April, before the first leg of the Europa League quarter-final against Sevilla. We shall have to wait and see whether Eriksen will be available for any of those fixtures.
