‘Good Development’ ‘500K A Week Deal Incoming’ Fans React To Reports That United Will Hold Talks With Wantaway Star Over New Deal

Manchester United are looking to open talks with Paul Pogba over a new contract, according to ESPN FC. The website reports that the Red Devils are keen to tie him down beyond the two years left on his current deal.

The Manchester club do have the option to extend the Frenchman’s stay by a further year but it is believed United are keen to get a commitment from the midfielder about his long term future.

Pogba is said to be still interested in a move to Real Madrid but after no move materialised in the summer, the 26-year-old is believed to be open to staying. Some fans on Twitter are happy about the news:

While other supporters wouldn’t mind seeing him sold if he isn’t 100% committed to the club:

Pogba’s situation seems to be a complicated one. Real Madrid’s interest seems to be predicated on Zinedine Zidane staying in his job as manager but the Frenchman’s poor start to the campaign could see him sacked before the next transfer window.

It that happens, the United star could well be convinced to sign on the dotted line and remain at Old Trafford.
