Manchester United will not be making another bid for Watford winger Ismaila Sarr before the domestic transfer window closes, according to reports in the English media.
It was reported that the Red Devils proposed to loan the Senegalese international, with an option to buy for £25m, but the Hornets rejected the offer as they are holding out for around £45m.
United can still sign players from the Championship until October 16th, but it is believed that they are now satisfied that they have enough wingers, after also signing teenager Facundo Pellistri from Penarol on deadline day. Fans on Twitter don’t believe the young Uruguayan is sufficient backup, considering the club were after the likes of Jadon Sancho and Ousmane Dembele earlier in the window:
He gonna be relying on an 18 year old Pellistri

We literally signed no winger for the first team 2 kids one which will go in the under 23 team and one who arrives in January ?

Jesus Christ, relying on a kid who has never played in the PL. Get a grip, we needed an established winger and he knows it

It could well be the case that the Red Devils will overlook a move for Sarr as they wait to make another attempt to sign Sancho in January but that comes with its own risks, with the club needing to strengthen now after losing two of their first three league games this season.
