‘Give Them Fred + 80M’ ‘We Don’t Even Have Enough Players To Offer’ Fans React To United’s Strategy For Signing 233 Goal Striker

Manchester United are still interested in signing Tottenham striker Harry Kane but they would have to offer players in exchange to bring down the England captain’s price tag, according to The Athletic.

The 27-year-old, who has scored 233 goals in his senior career so far, is reportedly weighing up whether to leave Spurs, but his asking price would make any transfer hard to pull off.

For that reason, United would need to find an innovative way to make a worthwhile offer for Kane, but fans on Twitter are not optimistic about their chances:

The Red Devils have a big challenge on their hands if they want to sign either Kane or Erling Haaland this summer. The financial impact of the global health crisis makes any deal difficult, so using players in exchange would certainly bring down the cost of the transfer.

As many supporters point out, though, United don’t have a lot of options when it comes to who they could use in any swap deal.
