Former United Star Reveals He’s Open To Surprise Return To The Club

LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic says he would consider returning to Manchester United if he was given the opportunity. The 37-year-old’s contract with his current team expires in November and he will be a free agent for the second half of the Premier League season.

Asked about his future and whether he’d be keen on playing for the Red Devils once again, the Swedish veteran revealed he’s open to the possibility:

“I could play easy in the Premier League, so if United needs me, I’m here”

With Alexis Sanchez looking poised to sign for Inter Milan on loan, and with Romelu Lukaku having also joined the Nerazzurri this summer, United will be quite light up front.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have just Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and the inexperienced Mason Greenwood to choose from. With Martial having picked up a thigh injury too, the Red Devils could begin to struggle for options in the frontline.

With the experience that Ibrahimovic provides, as well as his influence in the dressing room, the Swede could present a viable option for United to strengthen their numbers. He’s certainly showed no signs of slowing down either, having scored 22 goals in 22 appearances this campaign in the MLS.
