Koen Casteels, Goalkeeper
Casteels has spent most of his professional career in the Bundesliga with Hoffenheim, Wolfsburg, and Werder Bremen. He has made over 280 appearances in the German top division keeping 80 clean sheets.
The Belgian keeper made it into his national side’s squad for Euro 2024, keeping two clean sheets in four appearances.
He is rumored to be on his way to Saudi Pro-League team Al Qadsiah, however, the move is not yet complete and he could provide a Premier League side with a good option between the posts.
Liverpool and Manchester City are looking at goalkeeper options to cover themselves from the possible departures of Alisson and Ederson. Casteels could help provide some security if they wanted to pursue him.
