FIVE Teenagers With Huge Potential Who Are Out Of Contract In 2022

There has been a lot of talk about players such as Kylian Mbappe and Paul Pogba whose contracts expire at the end of the season.

These stars will, nonetheless, get huge signing-on fees, wages and other bonuses if they do choose to leave their current clubs on a free transfer, so they won’t be cheap.

However, there are some really talented young players whose current deals are running down. These youngsters could well be bargains for whoever snaps them up.

Press the next page as we look at five teenagers who will be out of contract next summer.

Lee Buchanan – Derby County

Wayne Rooney has described the defender as a top player and has even gone as far to say he is already one of the best left-backs in the country.

Buchanan has been the subject of a bid from Nottingham Forest this summer, and he is also a target for Celtic. With his current deal expiring in under 12 months’ time, he could be available pretty cheaply.

Kang-in Lee – Valencia

The 20-year-old already has six senior caps for South Korea and he has been tipped for great things if he is able to tap into his potential.

Lee relies on his pace and dribbling ability but he remains a raw talent that needs to be coached correctly. He is an attacking midfielder, but he can also be utilised right across the front three.

Mohamed Ihattaren – PSV Eindhoven

The teenager is available for transfer this summer due to his contract situation, and there have been negotiations taking place with Ligue One side Nice, although no agreement has been reached yet.

Ihattaren is a playmaker who can play as a number 10 or out wide. He didn’t pull up any trees for PSV last campaign, scoring three goals and providing two assists in 29 appearances. His agent is Mino Raiola so clubs will be wary about going after the Dutchman.

Ilaix Moriba – Barcelona

The Spaniard was very impressive when he broke into Barca’s first team in the second half of last season, but he is currently in the middle of a contract dispute which means he is training away from the senior squad.

Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea have all been linked with Moriba this summer and they will be keeping tabs on his situation.

Eduardo Camavinga – Rennes

The 18-year-old is a player in huge demand, with the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool among the names who have been scouting him.

Camavinga is thought to be favouring a move to Spain or staying in France with Paris Saint-Germain, but it does look as though he will be a free agent next year.
