FIVE Players Who Could Move Teams Before The Transfer Window Closes

With 13 days left to go before the transfer window slams slut, there are still a number of deals that could take place involving Premier League clubs.

Some are more high profile than others but, despite the season already being underway, there is expected to be a lot of activity right up until the deadline on August 31st.

Certain teams, in particular, who haven’t had a great start to the season, may look to the market to rectify their issues, while others may be trying to secure deals for players they have been after all summer.

Press the next page as we list five players who could move clubs in the next two weeks.

Kurt Zouma – Chelsea to West Ham (or Spurs?)

The Frenchman seemingly doesn’t have a future at Stamford Bridge but his destination still remains up in the air. West Ham have made the most progress in negotiations, although it has been reported that the Hammers cannot afford the defender’s wages.

Tottenham have emerged as a potential alternative destination in recent days but it remains to be seen whether Zouma would be willing to move to a fierce London rival.

Harry Kane – Tottenham to Manchester City

The England captain’s £160m asking price is proving to be the major obstacle in getting this transfer done, with City seemingly only prepared to pay £120m plus add-ons for the striker.

While there have been reports that Kane is expecting some progress on the deal before the weekend, most believe that negotiations will go down to the wire, with any transfer likely to happen in or around deadline day (if at all).

Jesse Lingard – Manchester United to West Ham

The Red Devils have reportedly dropped their asking price for the 28-year-old from £30m to £20m as there is now a danger that the player could leave on a free transfer next summer when his contract expires.

West Ham are still Lingard’s most likely destination, but Arsenal and Tottenham have also been mentioned as potential options in recent months. However, the Gunners’ capture of Martin Odegaard may end their interest.

Aaron Ramsdale – Sheffield United to Arsenal

Reliable journalists claim that the Gunners have re-entered talks with the Blades after the Yorkshire club softened their stance on the goalkeeper’s £35m asking price.

Arsenal are now hoping that a deal can be done which would see them paying £24m up front for Ramsdale, with the rest of the fee being made up of easily achievable performance-related bonuses.

Alexandre Lacazette – Arsenal to ?

The Frenchman has less than a year remaining on his contract at the Emirates and it is believed that the Gunners are very keen to offload him before the transfer deadline.

At the moment, though, there doesn’t appear to be a club willing to meet Lacazette’s valuation. That could soon change, though, in the final days of the window.
