Aston Villa playmaker Jack Grealish has just edged out Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho in our poll of Manchester United supporters for who should be the club’s priority summer signing.

We asked fans whether Grealish, Sancho, Wolves’ Raul Jimenez or Borussia Monchengladbach’s Alassane Plea should be the number one target for the Red Devils, and the Villa star was the surprise winner:

In terms of the transfer fee, there is no doubt that Grealish would be available for substantially less than Sancho, and that may have played a role in the poll results.

Whether signing another creative midfielder, following the arrival of Bruno Fernandes in January, would be prioritised over a right-winger like Sancho, though, it does seem unlikely.

In any case, it is believed both players are being actively pursued by United and we shall have to wait and see whether the club snap up either of them when the next transfer window opens.
