Fans Forum Penned In For THIS WEEK As United Try To Head Off Unrest

Manchester United have scheduled an emergency fans forum for this Friday, according to The Athletic.

The website reports that United’s hierarchy are keen to make it clear that the European Super League is well and truly dead, as they try to head off unrest from a fanbase who are unhappy with the club’s current owners: the Glazer family.

There has been no confirmation that either Joel Glazer or Ed Woodward will be present, although managing director Richard Arnold and operations chief Colette Roche are expected to be in attendance.

Supporters’ anger towards the Glazers has spiked since plans for the Super League emerged last week, and Avram Glazer was confronted by a reporter near his home in Palm Beach recently to determine whether the family would consider selling the Red Devils.

However, Glazer refused to comment, with many believing that they will try to ride out the storm following the collapse of the Super League.
