Everton V Manchester United – Match Preview, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

Solskjaer

Manchester United’s recent slump in form will be a cause of concern for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. An unconvincing win against West Ham was sandwiched between two poor performances against Barcelona.

They will face an Everton side whose recent run of good performances against Chelsea, West Ham and Arsenal were halted by an away loss at already relegated Fulham last weekend.

United could still be without Ander Herrera with the midfielder’s commitment having recently been questioned by Solskjaer, with his contract expiring in the summer.

The Spaniard is said to have a hamstring injury but it is unknown when he will return to first-team action. Eric Bailly (concussion) and Antonio Valencia (lack of fitness) are also expected to be absent for the game at Goodison Park on Sunday.

Manchester United’s Predicted XI To Face Everton:

De Gea, Dalot, Smalling, Lindelof, Shaw, Fred, Matic, Pogba, Lingard, Rashford, Martial

Everton manager Marco Silva has injury doubts over two players. Morgan Schneiderlin could be back in contention for the weekend. The Frenchman has missed the last three games with an ankle injury.

Centre-back Yerry Mina isn’t expected to feature. The Colombian international is suffering with a hamstring issue and won’t be fit in time for Sunday.

Everton’s Predicted XI:

Pickford, Coleman, Keane, Zouma, Digne, Gueye, Gomes, Richarlison, Sigurdsson, Bernard, Calvert-Lewin

The bookmakers have United as favourites for the three points. They are 11/8 at Betfred with a draw 5/2 at Unibet. A win for Everton is priced at 23/10 with Betfair.

Predicted Score – 1-1
