Erik Ten Hag Rates Manchester United’s Title Chances After Securing Comeback Derby Win

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag did not explicitly rule out a title challenge after his side came from 1-0 down to beat City in the derby yesterday afternoon.

The Red Devils are now one point behind their rivals in the Premier League table but they do still trail Arsenal by six points (who play Spurs this weekend), and ten Hag was rather coy when asked if his team can stay in contention:

“Fans can dream but we are not (getting carried away).”

As ten Hag says, it’s probably best not to get too caught up in it all. United have been fantastic against the rest of the “Big Six” this season, for the most part, but they haven’t always done so well against teams lower in the table.

Their form away from Old Trafford is not anything to write home about either, having lost three of their nine matches on the road, so that will have to be addressed in the coming weeks and months if they are to stay in touch at the top.
