‘English Hazard’ ‘Getting The Better Player For Less Money’ Fans On Twitter Pleased As United Eye Maddison Alternative

Manchester United are targeting Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish as their main alternative to Leicester’s James Maddison, according to the Mirror.

The Foxes star is reportedly poised to sign a new deal to extend his stay at the King Power Stadium so the Red Devils have opted to switch targets ahead of the summer transfer window.

Fans on Twitter believe Grealish may actually turn out to be the better signing:

Grealish certainly impressed when he came to Old Trafford back at the start of December. He scored a superb solo goal in the 2-2 draw and was a thorn in United’s side throughout the 90 minutes.

At 24 years of age, he would certainly fit into the criteria that United have set for new signings, while he has proven that he can perform to a high level in the Premier League, having scored seven goals and contributed five assists in just 23 appearances for the Villans this campaign.
