‘Endless Pain’ ‘Thank God For That. He’d Be A Disaster’ Fans React As High Profile Manager Is Ruled Out For United Job

Former Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane is not interested in taking the manager’s job at Manchester United if it becomes available, according to reports in the UK.

Zidane, who won the Champions League three times in his first spell at Real Madrid, is said to be waiting for the right opportunity to return to management, and he doesn’t believe the role at Old Trafford would suit him.

There has been a mixed reaction to the news on Twitter with some fans disappointed, while others feel he wouldn’t have been the right fit anyway:

Zidane would certainly have had his supporters in the dressing room, including Raphael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo, who he managed at Real.

However, the Frenchman has no experience of English football, and he has so far not proven himself as a manager away from the Bernabeu. Even so, his achievements speak for themselves, and his lack of interest will reduce United’s options if they do decide to dispense with the services of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
