Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick has insisted that Harry Maguire won’t lose the captaincy after a series of poor performances from the England international.

Despite his form, the centre-back is expected to lineup alongside Raphael Varane in the middle of defence when the Red Devils take on Brighton at Old Trafford this evening.

David De Gea will keep his place in goal, with Diogo Dalot at right-back, but Alex Telles could replace Luke Shaw on the left flank with the Brazilian having been on the bench for the draw against Southampton at the weekend.

In midfield, Fred could come in for Scott McTominay, with Paul Pogba playing alongside him and Bruno Fernandes starting in the no.10 position.

Up front, Marcus Rashford could be benched after playing poorly on Saturday. It could provide Anthony Elanga with another opportunity to impress. Jadon Sancho is expected to keep his place, along with Cristiano Ronaldo, despite the Portuguese forward struggling against the Saints last time out.
