“Don’t Rule Out A Move…” Ben Jacobs Claims United May Target 70M Rated Serie A Ace Instead Of Osimhen Or Kane

Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic remains a transfer target for Manchester United, according to CBS Sports reporter Ben Jacobs.

Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Tottenham’s Harry Kane have both been heavily linked with moves to Old Trafford this summer but Jacobs claims that Vlahovic is also likely to be on the club’s shortlist:

“I think Harry Kane to Manchester United has always been premature. Victor Osimhen is a very realistic possibility. Don’t rule out a move for Dusan Vlahovic as well because there’s a real opportunity to sign him this summer, as I revealed last year. Manchester United and Chelsea are two clubs that have looked at Vlahovic.”

It is believed that Juve will look to sell Vlahovic at the end of the season if they fail to qualify for the Champions League. The Bianconeri beat Arsenal to the Serbian international’s signature just over a year ago, but losing out on the prize money from Europe’s top competition will force them to cut costs.

An €80m (£70m) price tag is likely to be slapped on the forward, which would make him a cheaper option than either Osimhen or Kane. As Jacobs points out, though, they could still have competition from the likes of Chelsea for the player’s services.
