Done Deal! Introducing Our New Blog Writer RedInBed

We here at ManUNews.com are truly delighted and honoured to announce our biggest and best signing of the summer – the newest member of the team – RedInBed.

RedInBed is a 39 year old former marketer and media salesman who months ago was diagnosed with a severe and ongoing neurological disorder. This has resulted in him going from fit & healthy to being practically bed bound. It has been quite hard to adapt but that’s life and you have to play the cards you are dealt he courageously says. RedInBed was a decent footballer in his youth playing for Bedfordshire County and Luton Town Academy Level, but that certainly doesn’t qualify him as an expert. Now he’s certainly no journalist and his views are purely the views of an avid and insightful Man Utd fan since 1985.

RedInBed is a Manchester United fan to the extreme and as a result of the illness and now having so much time on his hands he started writing about his love for Man Utd, and sharing his views (and how glad we are at ManUnews.com). The reaction to his articles has been genuinely surprising him and is only gathering momentum. RedInBed started getting mentioned on some Man Utd YouTube Fan sites and some websites asked him to submit articles for their viewers enjoyment.

Ever since Norman Whiteside used Pat Van Der Hauwe as a shield, dropped his left shoulder and curled the ball around Southall to win the the 1985 FA Cup Final, RedInBed has been hooked. After researching the Busby Babes and the Munich tragedy then RedInBed was hit by the Fergie years which by their very dominance got him completely hooked on United.

After winning the 1985 FA Cup Final. His new fascination consumed him and led him to research the famous Busby Babes and the tragedy at Munich. So many of his best memories are United related (excluding meeting his wife & watching his daughter grow!!) and before you ask yes RedInBed has seen matches at Old Trafford!!!

Since the overwhelming support of his articles published by ManUNews.com who recognised his extraordinary talent and are keen to showcase it, the writer has decided to go by the moniker “RedInBed” because due to his illness he has to be realistic and accept his future lies in bed (no pun intended!)

The response to the articles of RedInBed has been so rewarding to him and us you can never appreciate, but from what we have heard, many United fans out there are getting the same enjoyment out of reading as RedInBed does writing them.

United are a religion and your reading and feedback is helping RedInBed keep the faith.

Cheers

RedInBed (Dave Poulton) and the whole ManUNews.com family #MUFC
