After the performances of our strikers this campaign, with Rooney leading with 12 league and 2 cup goals with RVP in 2nd with 10 league goals only and no league cup goals; then with Falcao with 4 league goals and no league cup goals; and James Wilson with 1 league goal.

This shows a major deficiency with the number of goals we have got from the strikeforce and even a 100% improvement would have left the strikeforce nothing more than delivering an average output for a historical man utd strike force from years gone by.

Clearly, the srikeforce has shown that it needs an overhaul or at least a tinker seemimgly they can no longer justify a way to keep Falcao at OT despite how may fans are still wishing for him to deliver and who knows he still might but time is sure running out. Rooney has shown that he is still a worldclass striker and can deliver but he needs to be able to play up front there whereas out of necessity he has been used in midfield to help the greater good of the team which has helped but we need RVP to fire and also Falcao and Di Maria to fire now and of course we need the inspiration of an enigmatic now maturing Wayne Rooney to secure what should be well in our grasp.

Those players LVG should look at next season must include Memphis Depay, Robin Van Persie again and Marco Reus plus AN Other.
