Manchester United winger Angel di Maria has reportedly finalised his move to PSG and will undergo a medical in the coming days. Spanish football expert Guillem Balague, who was the first to break the news about Di Maria’s £59.7m move to United, has now revealed the 27-year-old is on his way to PSG and a move was finalised yesterday.
PSG’s boss Laurent Blanc spoke after their 2-0 win over United, and revealed the deal was close.
“Manchester United and PSG are two big clubs and negotiations can be difficult, but we are close to the end,” the PSG boss said.
As for Van Gaal, his knowledge on the Argentine was far different.
“I don’t know where he is,” he said.
“You can ask it every week, but I don’t answer that question. Maybe you know? I don’t know.”
“At Manchester United, we will announce something when it is already done and not when it is not done because it is a process and I have said it many, many times. We have to wait and see.”

Guillem Balague tweeted early this morning to confirm Blanc’s statement, but took it a step further by stating the deal was all but done, with a fee being agreed at around £45 million. The news means United look set to lose around £15.5 million on Di Maria, which would be a woeful piece of business.
On his personal Twitter account, Balague said this:
“@GuillemBalague: The di Maria deal agreed with PSG yesterday is for a €63m fee (£44.2m)”
So it’s another piece of bad news for United fans, let’s hope there’s a replacement lined up!
