Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford will be offered a new contract that will double his current salary, according to reports in the English media.
The 21-year-old has been in great form in recent weeks, having scored four goals in six games under interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Rashford’s current deal, which is worth £75k a week, expires in 2020, and United are prepared to give him a wage rise to £150,000 a week.
Fans on Twitter thinks he deserves such a pay increase:
Deserves even double that.

United paying Sanchez 7x what Rashford currently earns.
I ain’t heard a peep out of Rashford regarding salary increases or anything money related.
This guy just wants to be successful, the wage will follow, not lead.

Others are hoping that United are also still focusing on securing David de Gea and Anthony Martial to longer-term deals:
They should focus on securing De Gea and Martial first. Marcus will no doubt be here for the next decade

Rashford’s switch to a number nine role under Solskjaer has really paid dividends for the Norwegian so far. His pace and movement is a threat to any defence, especially combined with such a mobile front three in Jesse Lingard and Martial.
TV pundit Gary Neville has backed the England international to make the central striker role his own, ahead of Romelu Lukaku, stating in his commentary during the game against Tottenham that Rashford is the “number one” at United currently.
