December return for Zlatan?

Manchester United legend Andy Cole has revealed that striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be set to make his return for the club as early as December.

The Swede has been out of action since April, and many believed the forward would never don the United Red shirt ever again. But since signing a new one-year extension at the club, fans have been eagerly awaiting the 36-year-old’s return to Old Trafford.

His return was expected to come sometime next year, but Andy Cole has admitted we could be in line to see the legend return before the new year.

Cole has been training with Ibrahimovic in the gym as he continues his recovery from kidney transplant surgery, and posted this on his Instagram page earlier in the month:

Good morning my new gym partner ?? ⚽️

Speaking recently to MUTV, Cole provided an injury update on the new No.10.

“He is doing very good,” Cole told MUTV. “I had a chat with Zlatan when he was in the gym the other day. I think he is looking forward to coming back, most probably in December or January time.”

“I think he will definitely bring something to the football team, as we already know.”

“After last season, he was fantastic. It will be nice to see him back when he returns.”
