De Gea And Shaw To Start, Henderson And Telles Out: United’s Predicted XI To Face Leeds

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would have been happy with some aspects of the 3-2 win over Sheffield United on Thursday night but he’ll know that they’ll need to improve defensively when they face Leeds tomorrow.

David De Gea is expected to replace Dean Henderson in goal after the Spaniard was rested at Bramall Lane. At the back, Solskjaer may opt for the more defence-minded Luke Shaw ahead of Alex Telles at left-back, with Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka making up the rest of the back four.

In midfield, it could well be the same trio that played against the Blades, which would mean Nemanja Matic in the holding midfield role, with Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes playing further forward.

Up front, Solskjaer will be reluctant to change things after their excellent display midweek. Edinson Cavani has recovered from a groin injury but the Uruguayan may have to settle for a place on the bench, with Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood being selected as the front three.

Manchester United’s Predicted XI To Face Leeds:
