Brentford goalkeeper David Raya’s “preference” is to stay in the Premier League, according to GiveMeSport.

Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham are all reportedly keen on signing the Spanish international, who has rejected a number of offers to extend his contract with the Bees.

Raya’s current deal expires at the end of next season so this summer will be the last chance for Brentford to sell the player before he becomes available on a free transfer.

Manager Thomas Frank has boldly suggested that the 27-year-old is worth in excess of £40m, Even so, his value will likely be determined by who is willing to offer the most for the keeper who is closing in on the final year of his contract.

£20m has been suggested as a more realistic figure but United’s interest will be dependent on what happens with David De Gea. The club’s current number one has been asked to take a pay cut but he has yet to put pen to paper on an extension.
