David Ornstein Confirms United, Arsenal And Everton Are All Pursuing 2 Cap England International

Manchester United, Arsenal and Everton have all been weighing up a potential move for Southampton fullback Kyle-Walker-Peters, according to The Athletic‘s David Ornstein.

The trusted journalist claims that the Red Devils and the Gunners have added the former Tottenham player to their list of possible candidates as they consider strengthening their options at right-back.

Everton also have a “firm admiration” for Walker-Peters but there is an acknowledgment that the Toffees’ poor financial situation would make any deal difficult.

Ornstein also points out that Spurs do have a £30m buyback option on the defender, who was handed his first two senior England caps earlier this year after his excellent form for the Saints.

United are in the market for a potential replacement for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who has reportedly been deemed surplus to requirements, so we shall see if a bid for Walker-Peters does materialise before the transfer window closes next month.
