Martial And Bailly To Start, Pogba On The Bench: United’s Predicted XI To Play Milan

After a 1-1 draw in the first leg, Manchester United know they need at least one goal in Italy to progress to the Europa League quarter-finals.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side usually play better on the counter-attack so, with the onus on them to score, this could be a very tricky match to negotiate.

With regards to the starting eleven, Dean Henderson is expected to keep his place in goal, despite David De Gea now being back available. Eric Bailly could replace Victor Lindelof alongside Harry Maguire in the centre of defence, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw as the two fullbacks.

In midfield, Solskjaer may opt for the same three that started against West Ham at the weekend: Scott McTominay, Fred and Bruno Fernandes. Paul Pogba and Donny van de Beek are fit again but their lack of match sharpness means they are likely to be named on the bench.

Up front, Anthony Martial could return to lead the line, with Marcus Rashford playing off the left, with Mason Greenwood on the right flank.

Manchester United’s Predicted XI To Face AC Milan:

Henderson, Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Maguire, Shaw, Fred, Fernandes, McTominay, Greenwood, Martial, Rashford,
