Cavani And Bailly To Start, Martial Benched: United’s Predicted XI To Face Fulham

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would have been pleased with certain aspects of the performance in the 0-0 draw against Liverpool last weekend.

The Norwegian was, though, right to highlight after the match that the point at Anfield will only be seen as a good result if they follow it up with a win at Fulham.

With regards to the team that Solskjaer will deploy at Craven Cottage. They may be one change to the backline from the Liverpool game with Eric Bailly replacing Victor Lindelof.

The Swedish international is unlikely to be able to play two games in a week due to a back injury so Bailly could line up alongside Aaron Wa-Bissaka, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw in defence with David De Gea in goal.

Solskjaer may also opt for fresh legs in midfield, with Nemanja Matic possibly coming into the side for Scott McTominay, to play alongside Fred, with Bruno Fernandes in his customary no.10 role

Paul Pogba could be deployed once more on the right flank, but there may be a change up front with Edinson Cavani replacing Anthony Martial, and Marcus Rashford moving to his favoured position on the left.

Manchester United’s Predicted XI To Face Fulham:

De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Maguire, Shaw, Fred, Fernandes, Matic, Pogba, Cavani, Rashford
