Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba put in a man of the match performance in the 3-0 win over Young Boys last night.
The France international opened the scoring with an excellent solo effort, before slotting away from the penalty spot.
Fans on Twitter were absolutely delighted by Pogba’s display:

Give us the same result against @Wolves on Saturday. We want our bragging rights restored to default.

A few are hoping that the 25-year-old’s performance will silence critics like Graeme Souness:

Pogba stood in for Antonio Valencia as captain and took the game by the scruff of the neck following a tepid opening half an hour by the Red Devils.
The comfortable victory gets United’s Champions League campaign off to a perfect start. They face Valencia on matchday two at the beginning of October.
Before then, they will face Wolves at home in the Premier League. After a difficult opening couple of months of the campaign, the Manchester club will be hoping to make it four wins in a row in all competitions on Saturday.
