Manchester United centre-back Victor Lindelof put in a stand-out performance as the Red Devils secured a 2-0 win against Granada last night.
The Swedish international played a key role at both ends of the pitch. He picked out Marcus Rashford with a superb ball for United’s opener midway through the first half, before also coming to centre-back partner Harry Maguire’s rescue to stop a Granada attack in its tracks.
Lindelof has not always been a favourite among the fanbase, with many feeling that Eric Bailly should be selected more often, but most supporters on Twitter last night were full of praise for the 26-year-old’s display:

Consistency has been a big issue for Lindelof but it is important to keep in mind that the player has been suffering with a long-term back injury, which can be a limiting factor on performances.
Three clean sheets away from home in Europe is not to be sniffed at, though, and United are now in touching distance of the Europa League semi-finals.
