Brighton Vs Manchester United: Match Preview And Injury News

Manchester United face a tough test in the form of an away game against Brighton and Hove Albion on Thursday evening, with a kickoff time of 8pm.

Manchester United will be without Lisandro Martinez, Donny Van De Beek, Scott McTominay, Raphael Varane, Tom Heaton and Phil Jones for their game against the Seagulls. On top of this, Alejandro Garnacho is expected to miss out – he is nearing a return, but the game at the Falmer Stadium on Thursday evening will likely come too soon for the young Argentinian.

In their last game, United beat Unai Emery’s Aston Villa by a score of 1-0 at Old Trafford. It was a good performance from the Red Devils, perhaps understatedly so – the only goal of the game was scored by star player Marcus Rashford.

Brighton, on the other hand, annihilated Wolverhampton Wanderers by a score of 6-0 in their last game. It was a complete performance from the Seagulls – they completely outclassed their lacklustre opposition. Their goals were scored by braces from Deniz Undav, Pascal Gross and Danny Welbeck.

When the two teams last came to blows, all the way back in August, Brighton beat United by a score of 2-1. Pascal Gross netted a first-half brace – the Red Devils’ only goal of the game came through an own goal by Alexis Mac Allister.
