Manchester United could well make their move for Porto left-back Alex Telles now they have missed out on Sergio Reguilon to Tottenham, according to reports in the Portuguese media.
The Brazilian has just ten months left on his contract at the Estadio do Dragao and Porto are believed to be willing to sell the defender for €20m (£18m). Supporters on Twitter are not sure whether to believe this latest rumour:
Better deal tbh, as much as I hate woodward he was right to pull out of reguillon

Will be a better a deal in terms of finances, particularly.

Porto have not been able to agree a new contract with Telles and, with the transfer deadline only a few weeks away, they have decided to lower their asking price to prevent him from leaving for nothing next year.
The defender would certainly be an interesting alternative to Reguilon. He has experience of playing at the highest level, and he is still only 27 years of age. The lack of interest in him is a major concern, though, with Paris Saint-Germain the only club to have reportedly entered talks to sign the fullback earlier this summer.
