‘Best News This Year’ Come On!’ – Fans On Twitter React As United Are Given Huge Injury Boost Ahead Of Palace Clash

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has revealed that five players with injury doubts will be fit and ready to face Crystal Palace this weekend.

Anthony Martial, Romelu Lukaku, Marcus Rashford, Paul Pogba and Marouane Fellaini have all been suffering with fitness issues but the United boss said at his pre-match press conference that all of them would be available for this afternoon’s game against the Eagles.

Supporters on Twitter are happy they are all back in contention to play:

Four of them: Martial, Lukaku, Pogba and Fellaini did not play during the international break and have spent their time recuperating.

Pogba missed the game against Manchester City with a thigh injury but looks to be fit and raring to go for Palace. Lukaku has been sidelined with a hamstring problem for a number of weeks but Mourinho believes he could play today, although there is a higher risk with the Belgian starting.

Fellaini (groin) and Martial (adductor) have also recovered fitness sufficiently to be in line for starts at Old Trafford. The only player who was on international duty, Marcus Rashford, picked up a knock against Croatia on Sunday but it appears it won’t stop the 21-year-old from featuring this afternoon.
