‘Best Game For The Club’ ‘Outstanding Performance’ – Fans Are All Saying The Same Thing About United Ace After Rout

Manchester United forward Jesse Lingard put in a man of the match performance against Cardiff on Saturday evening.

The 25-year-old scored a brace in the 5-1 thrashing of the Bluebirds, taking his total to four goals in his last four games for the Red Devils.

There were many excellent displays for United on the night but fans on Twitter felt Lingard was deservedly singled out:

Supporters will be keen for Lingard and the whole team to maintain those levels of performance when they face Huddersfield on Boxing Day.

Interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could not have gotten off to a better start, and a home game against the Terriers is a great opportunity to get back-to-back wins.

Lingard and his teammates have a lot of work to do to get back in the hunt for the top four, but some good wins over the festive period could get them right back into contention.
