Bailly and Pogba injury update ahead of Spurs clash!

Eric Bailly has provided Manchester United fans with an injury update that will hopefully see him return to action this weekend against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Ivorian defender tweeted a picture of himself, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and David de Gea which was captioned ‘feeling good after today’s training session’ – signalling that a return is closer than we all feared.

Jose Mourinho also provided an update on Bailly, as well as teammates Paul Pogba and Marouane Fellaini.

The Portuguese says he expects Bailly to be ready for the game against Spurs, but can’t make any guarantees about Pogba and Fellaini.

“If you ask if [Paul Pogba] can play next week against Tottenham then I don’t know. I’m not telling you no, then he plays, and then you say I lied. I really don’t know.”

“I expect Eric Bailly to be back next week. I cannot tell you about Fellaini or Pogba.”

Bailly has missed four games for Manchester United due to his injury, and it is fair to say with the draw at Liverpool and the loss to Huddersfield it is about time he returned!
