Bailly And Greenwood To Start, Cavani On The Bench: United’s Predicted XI To Play Milan

After an excellent performance in the Manchester derby at the weekend, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be hoping to keep up the momentum when they face AC Milan in the Europa League tomorrow night.

However, injuries to the likes of Marcus Rashford, Paul Pogba and Donny van de Beek mean that the Red Devils will have limited options in terms of rotation.

Dean Henderson will keep his place in goal, with David De Gea still on paternity leave in Spain. Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw are expected to start in the fullback positions.

In the centre of defence, Eric Bailly may come in for Victor Lindelof, with the Swedish international’s chronic back problem meaning he struggles to play two games in a week. Harry Maguire will captain the side.

Nemanja Matic could make a case for himself to be selected in midfield but Solskjaer may keep faith with the trio of Scott McTominay, Fred and Bruno Fernandes who did so well against City.

The injury to Rashford and doubts over Edinson Cavani’s fitness mean Anthony Martial will likely keep his place up front, with Mason Greenwood on the right with Dan James switching to the left flank.

Manchester United’s Predicted XI To Face AC Milan:

Henderson, Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Maguire, Shaw, Fred, Fernandes, McTominay, Greenwood, Martial, James
