‘At The Moment…’ Fabrizio Romano Provides Update On United’s Interest In Harry Kane

Manchester United are not currently involved in the race for Tottenham’s Harry Kane, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The Red Devils, along with Manchester City and Chelsea are said to be the three teams interested in the 28-year-old, with speculation about the striker’s future having increased after the player missed training for a second successive day.

However, speaking on his personal YouTube channel yesterday, Romano said that United have not entered the battle for Kane’s signature:

“At the moment, Manchester United are not in the race. I see many Manchester United fans asking me but they are not in the race [for Kane]”

Whether their position will shift before the transfer window closes, we shall have to wait and see. There has been no indication that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen on signing a new striker this summer.

In fact, it has been suggested that the Manchester club are happy to keep Edinson Cavani for one more season before making their move for a new number nine next year.

It seems Manchester City are the favourites for Kane currently but, with just under a month to go before deadline day, things can change very quickly.
