‘Asked To Be Kept Informed’ United Named As One Of 4 PL Clubs Pursuing Bargain Deal For 143 Goal South American

Manchester United have “asked to be kept informed” about Juventus forward Paulo Dybala’s future, according to ESPN.

The Argentinian international, who has scored 143 goals in his professional career, will be available on a free transfer when his contract expires in June.

Dybala and his agent have not held advanced talks with any club at this stage and ESPN claim United, Arsenal, Tottenham and Newcastle are all in contention to sign the 28-year-old.

Teams in Spain and Italy have also “sounded out” the player’s representatives and it looks as though there could be a fierce battle for the striker’s signature.

Dybala has been linked with the Red Devils in past transfer windows, but any decisions on signings will be made by incoming manager Erik ten Hag.

The Dutchman may well have his own ideas in terms of the type of forward he is looking for and, while Dybala undoubtedly has talent, it remains to be seen whether ten Hag would be keen on working with him.
