Rumours surrounding the future of Arda Turan have picked up the pace big time after his agent claimed the players future would be decided within the next 4 days.
The Express claims that Chelsea and Arsenal have been credited with a strong interest in the 28-year-old, along with Manchester United. The media outlet also revealed that European football expert Andy Brassell thinks United would be the best fit for Turan.
My gut feeling tells me [he’ll move to] Manchester United. They’re the fit for him.”
“Everyone should be interested in him, including Chelsea.”
“This guy is an unbelievable player.”
“He made a huge difference in those even Madrid derbies that Atletico won. He’s got great energy and is adaptable.”
“He wants to come to the Premier League and my gut feeling tells me [he’ll move to] Manchester United. They’re the most likely and that’s the fit for him.”
Turan’s agent today confirmed that there is no ‘done deal’ with United as yet. This has sparked reports that Chelsea are close to agreeing a deal with the Turk.
It’ll be interesting to see where Arda turns out playing next season, a player of his quality would fit into any side. Up to now, United are the favourites to sign the midfielder, who can play almost anywhere in the middle of the park. PSG are another side keen on the 28-year-old, but Chelsea and Arsenal’s interest could prove to be a stumbling block for the Red Devils, as both sides require a wide midfielder more than United.
