Manchester United have made contact with Lyon striker Moussa Dembele over the possibility of moving to Old Trafford in the January transfer window, according to reports in the UK.
The 23-year-old is currently the joint-second top scorer in Ligue One with six goals this season, and supporters on Twitter have been debating whether he would be the right player for the Red Devils:

Dembele is reportedly keen on a move to Manchester, but Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas is a very tough negotiator and the French club are believed to be holding out for a sizeable sum. They paid Celtic €20m for Dembele in August 2018, but they could demand as much as €80m (£70m) in January.
Whether that would put off United, it remains to be seen. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are very keen to sign another striker after having only scored nine goals in eight league games so far this campaign.
